Description: The state government of Uttar Pradesh has taken an initiative, for the social security of the Girl Child, following which a month long program is being run on District level. Our School Canossa Convent was marked and visited by dignitaries such as BSA Ms. Amita Singh, C.O. City- Mr. Arvind Chaurasia, S.O. Cantt- Mr. Asutosh Mishra on 01/07/2019. The students were imparted information about various security Helplines such as 1090, 1098, 100 DIAL, etc. They were also informed about ONE STOP CENTRES and Rani Laxmibai Mahila Samman, provision of compensation to rape victims and victims of acid attack. They were specifically made aware of the new Helpline Service- 181 for women and were also told about the various initiatives taken up by the State Government for the promotion of Girl Child Health and Girl Child Education.
