The motto of the college is “LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE”. A light does not exist for itself; it shines on others. Students should become torch bearers. Their life must be such that wherever they go and wherever they live, other people should become better for having been with them.
Canossa Convent Girls’ Inter College is run by religious sisters (nuns) registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 as Canossians Faizabad. The institution runs classes from 6th to 12th and is recognized by the Board of High School & Intermediate Education, Allahabad (U.P.).
It also imparts sound spiritual, mental, moral, and social education to all students. Co-curricular activities of varied nature are provided to promote a harmonious development of both mind and body.
